FULL SERVICE // Kitchen & Bath

Full Service Interior Design is just that...Full Service. We are with you from conception to completion, leading you through the entire scope of the creative process of making a house YOUR home.

Long story, short, here’s how it works:

  • Fill out our questionnaire
  • Send photos of your house/room(s)
  • We will take care of Budgets and Contracts
  • We’ll then contact you to arrange a one hour consultation for a fixed fee (within the Orange County Area)
  • We’ll take measurements of the space(s)
  • With all the details in place we will start designing
  • Below is exactly how you can expect us to manage your Interiors project, of course with tending to any other details that may not be noted here.

Short Story, Long, here's how it works:

Step Zero, starts with you my dear.  First things first, start with filling out our questionnaire on our website (located just below all of this info).  We’ve compiled all of the initial bits of information that we need gathered up from you there. We recommend starting out the Kitchen Design process by thinking through what you are looking for, the style you want and the things that you need to create a well thought out kitchen.   We suggest using Houzz or Pinterest to pull some inspiration together that you can share with us. Not sure where to start? You can always peruse our collection of inspiration on our Pure Salt Pinterest Boards or Houzz and pin the images that stand out to you. Anything goes here, it’s a quick brainstorming session to get you in the groove!

INITIAL CONSULTATION // $150.00 Consult Fee Due upon Booking

During this in-home 1 hour consultation, we’ll want to hear about your dreams and desires regarding:

  • Cabinetry
  • Countertops and Backsplash
  • Appliances
  • Flooring
  • Electrical & Plumbing
  • Lighting
  • Design Elements and Style
  • Budget Requirements

We will also give you our initial design thoughts based on your space, some ideas and fill you in on our next steps before we hit the drawing board.

So we have had a chance to digest your needs and desires and sort through the important information you provided us with.  At this point, we have built out conceptual design plans that we are ready to present to you. We will fine tune the direction on design, materials and appliances and plan for next steps in purchasing, construction, and installation. We’ll continue our discussions about budget, ensuring that we stay right where we are supposed to, providing an outline and suggested range for the various elements of your kitchen.

At this meeting we will also discuss the Design Retainer, a deposit that will book our services for the remainder of the Kitchen Design Process.  We will take care of all the nitty gritty details in contract signing and we will be well on our way to your dream kitchen!

After concepts have been envisioned, we will meet to choose specific materials from list below.  These details will allow us to present you with the final design plan together with a typewritten proposal, which includes an itemized materials list, paint selections and installation plans. All final selections will have been approved at this time. We will also be the design liaison between yourself and your contractor for the job.

  • Flooring, Countertops & Backsplash
  • Appliances
  • Lighting & Hardware
  • Fixtures
  • Paint Selection
  • Installation Plans

After our previous meeting, we will provide you with a Final Design plan with all pricing and items included.  To proceed with ordering your items, a deposit representing the specific amount of the costs will be required for us to proceed. No orders will be processed without receiving signatures on the design plan and the selections acknowledgement.

Once we have taken care of the deposits and design plans, we’ll submit all of the specifications and orders directly to the suppliers.  Once orders have been placed, we will send you complete materials listing and tentative delivery dates.

**Please note : There can be no changes or alterations to your order at this time without considerable financial penalties that are out of our control.

From here, we will have coordinated with your construction crew on when all materials will be available and work will have begun.  We will coordinate the installation phase as much as you see fit here, ensuring that all design details are being properly tended to.

So the construction workers have left the building! Great news! Now it’s time for us to come in and put the finishing touches on for you.  We will have discussed budgets and style for the this portion and will come in for full Kitchen Styling.  When we leave your house, the place will be brand spanking new and ready for you to soak it all in!

The nature of a new kitchen/bath build or remodel is one that is vastly different across the board of design.  In order for us to be most fair with our clients, we believe that an hourly rate is best in this type of project.  If you have a tiny kitchen that needs some love in specific places, it may only take us a couple of short weeks.  On the other hand, if you have a full blown renovation on your hands that needs plumbing and electrical reworked, along with all new appliances and fixtures, well that my dear, is a whole different story.
